Windows10 Upgrades on Brooks Sorters
Some of the benefits of running the new Win10 upgrades include:
SATA Hard Drives (no more expensive, hard to find and unreliable PATA hard drives)
RAID1 for SATA for backup of hard drives
Newer UI with much faster and currently available i7 CPU and DDR3 RAM
Win10 allows IT department to deploy current virus protection and other apps
No more backdoor virus issues from unsupported older OS
Tool runs much more stable with new software/hardware, more up time, less crashing
Allows for 50 configs on Cognex Cameras vs your current 25 config setup
Newer algorithms and filtering allow for much better OCR reads
This upgrade has been very popular and successful for us and the fabs. All of the engineers and IT guys we have talked to have been very happy with it and say the up time alone pays for the upgrade. You can upgrade the newer 1741 cameras if you want the latest greatest on the cameras, but the software upgrade that we do with the Win10 makes the 1721 cameras run much better as well.

IRIS Reticle Shuffler
The IRIS or Integrated Reticle Inspection System is an in-house design reticle inspection tool. It uses a KUKA robot and has many customizable features, including:
